PMA Panthers Girls Volleyball '12

Rams too strong

After a two-week break, PMA volleyball came out flat and Shawsheen was hot, rolling to a 3-0 victory in Division 3 North quarterfinal play.

Amari Spears (nine kills) turned in a strong effort for PMA, a team that should return to prosperity next season as only two seniors graduate from this year's 12-6 unit.

Playing its best volleyball against Greater Lowell in a long time, Presentation of Mary forced its match to a decisive fifth game but fell, 15-11 to lose its first match of the young season. Amari Spears was strong up front for PMA while Catherine Muldoon provided impressive defense.
