NECC stays hot

 

The Northern Essex baseball team won its 15th straight game,improving to 23-7, with an 11-1 victory over Southern Maine. Keegan Pafford went seven inngs for the win and was 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run and three RBIs while Pat Parker was 3 for 5 with two homers and four RBIs.

Win for new coach

 

Jane Erlandson threw a five-hitter and had four hits and four RBIs to help Georgetown rout Manchester Essex 14-2 in the coaching debut of Dave Tullgren. Freshmen Devin Cudmore and Cally O'Connor had home runs in a 23-hit attack.
