Kim Crucioli whiffed nine and didn't walk a batter as North Andover downed Georgetown, 9-2, to keep its state tourney hopes alive.

Junior catcher Courtney Green smashed a grand slam in the fourth inning to help lift North Andover 15-0 over  Georgetown.

Georgetown seniors Shannon O'Brien and Taylor Nelson both had three hits and drove in three runs to pace the Royals to a 10-5 victory over Manchester Essex.

Jane Erlandson threw her first career varsity shutout, scattering four hits and striking out six batters as Georgetown softball won 12-0 over Salem. 

Cally O'Connor was 6 for 6 with four RBIs and Amy Cronin was 5 for 5 with three RBIs as Georgetown downed Pentucket 24-7.

The Northern Essex baseball team won its 15th straight game,improving to 23-7, with an 11-1 victory over Southern Maine. Keegan Pafford went seven inngs for the win and was 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run and three RBIs while Pat Parker was 3 for 5 with two homers and four RBIs.

Jane Erlandson threw a five-hitter and had four hits and four RBIs to help Georgetown rout Manchester Essex 14-2 in the coaching debut of Dave Tullgren. Freshmen Devin Cudmore and Cally O'Connor had home runs in a 23-hit attack.
