Red-hot juniors

 

 

Juniors Hannah Latham and Sam Cloutier continued to swing a hot bat, drilling three hits apiece, in Salem's 8-0 win over Dover. Latham had two RBIs and Cloutier scored twice for the unbeaten Blue Devils (14-0). Nicole Gubellini threw a two-hitter for the win and had two hits and an RBI.

Hero Heather

 

Heather Pelletier, who struck out her first two at-bats, tied the game with a triple in the seventh and hit a walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift Pinkerton to a wild 10-8 victory over Dover. Winning pitcher Melanie Dusseault was 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Homers continue

 

 

Londonderry softball coach Wayne MacDougall was worried about his team's lack of power this year, but the concern seems unfounded. The Lancers hit three home runs yesterday in an 8-0 win over Dover, giving them six on the year. Lindsey Bolduc, Rachel Kreyetenberg amd Sam Corey had the blasts yesterday while Kelsey Enright had a key two-run double and Colleen Clark was 4 for 4.
