With Phillips hunting a doubleheader split at Deerfield, Rory Ziomek delivered five scoreless innings to backbone a 6-1 Big Blue victory. Methuen's Jason Buco had a pair of hits and scored two runs in the win.

A wild pitch and throwing error with two outs in the seventh inning spelled doom for Phillips in a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to Cushing Academy. Leadoff hitter Seamus O'Neill kept his strong season going with two of Phillips' five hits including a double. The sophomore leads the team with a .478 batting average.

Brooks senior Dan Conway of Andover stroked a sacrifice fly that plated the game winning run in the eighth inning as Brooks beat Phillips in baseball, 9-8. 

Not known as a power hitter, Jeremy Hutton blasted two homers over the fence, the first two of his varsity career, in Phillips' 8-5 win over N.M.H., the second of a doubleheader sweep.

Chris Cameron was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning and eventually scored on an RBI single by .Jason Buco of Methuen. With big Tom Palleschi of Haverhill (6 innings, 2 hits, 7 Ks) dominant on the hill, Phillips held on for a 1-0 win over Bridgton.
