Freshman Haley DeRoche ripped a three-run triple in the fourth inning and Haverhill won 15-0 over PMA in softball. 

Shortstop Ashley Ventolieri shined defensively for PMA during a tough 17-2 loss to Minuteman.

Kailah Goulet and Cassey Glode each hit a home run and Caitlyn McHugh drove in four runs as Whittier beat PMA 18-3.

Greater Lawrence freshman Kaisha Burgos had a two-run double with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh —  her third hit of the game —  as Greater Lawrence slipped past PMA 13-12. Caitlin Gleed had four RBIS, including three in the top of the seventh on a bases-loaded doubles.

Catcher Joelle Bechara turned two bases-loaded forceouts at the plate into double plays, killing Chelsea rallies and lifting PMA to a 13-3 victory. Ashley Ventolieri had four hits with a pair of doubles, scoring twice for the Panthers.

Heather Boutin had a bases-loaded double in Greater Lawrence's eight-run first inning among her four hits as the Reggies won their first game of the season, 17-7 over Presentation of Mary. Kiki Donis added a single and two doubles in a game that featured 24 walks

Paced by Joelle Bechara's prolific bat, Presentation of Mary pounded Lynn Tech 23-4 in five innings. Bechara had a three-run homer, a triple and two doubles for five RBIs. Catherine Muldoon led off the game with a home run and the Panthers went on to score 11 runs in the first inning. Francely Acosta added three hits and picked up the win.
