Indian rally

 

Sanborn's softball team scored five runs in the top of the seventh to rally past Merrimack Valley 7-5. Kaila Nicholson (3 for 4) had the key blow for the Indians (7-7), a three-run double, and then scored herself on an RBI single from Amanda Turco.

 Sanborn freshman Meg Dolan continued to impress, going 4 for 4 with a triple, double and two RBIs while also making an unassisted double play at third base as Sandborn ripped Pembroke 9-3.

Kennett's seven-run second inning barely withstood a pair of Sanborn's offensive challenges in an 11-9 victory. Sophomore Rachel Colbert had a two-run triple and junior Celine Savat a two-run double in a five-run seventh-inning rally.

Chelsea Angus' pinch-hit three-run double was one of many big blows in Sanborn's 16-1 crushing of Oyster River. Katie Mann also drove in three runs while Celine Savat and Jess King had two RBIs each.

Chelsea Angus allowed just two hits, striking out nine, and Sanborn erupted at the plate for its first win f the season, 20-3 over Pelham in five innings. Kayla Broadhurst led the attack with three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored.
