Johnny Orlando had two goals and two assists and linemates Brendan Lincoln and Max Whitmyre had a goal and three assists as Pentucket (10-6-3) blanked Lynn Classical 4-0 for the title of the Newburyport Bank Tournament. Anthony Orlando got his second shutout and was named tourney MVP. Johnny Orlando and Ethan Dore were on the all-tourney team.

Central Catholic's softball team lept its cinderella run alive Saturday night with a 1-0 Division 1 North win over Lynn Classical. The Raiders, who won their last four games to make the tournament, won their second straight as Olivia Antczak and Eve Walker combined on a three-hitter. Courtney Woranka (2 for 3) scored the Raiders' lone run in the second inning on an error.

When her opportunity arrived last night, Witten more than made it count.

The senior tri-captain erupted for 25 points, including five 3-pointers, to help No. 6 Andover roll past No. 11 Lynn Classical 66-45 in the Division 1 North first round last night.
