Greater Lawrence Tech senior forward Matt Janinski scores six goals, five in the second half to lead the Reggies to a 9-5 win over Fellowship. Janinski already had three of the first five goals, with the score tied at 5-5 in the second half, he scored the next 3 goals to put the game away. First year coach Dick Coakley said, "You really had to be here to see it" he added "Sometimes it is your day and today was Matt's."

Whittier's boys soccer team romped past Fellowship Christian 9-1 and sophomore Felipe Guimares had a big role with three goals and three assists. Junior Jacob Bradwell also scored three times.

Chelsea Kirmelewicz was everything for Fellowship Christian, who won an early battle of volleyball unbeatens by sweeping past Shawsheen, 3-0. The senior led the Rams with 10 kills and 2 blocks while also pitching in 8 service poins and 6 aces. Strong net play and defense from Angie Tran and Bethany Dyer paid dividends as well for Fellowship (3-0).

Chelsea Kirmelewicz took over a tight match with five huge service points and four aces in the second game alone, lifting Felllowship Christian over Whittier Tech in three straight tight games, 26-24, 28-26 and 27-25.
Bethany Dyer delivered serious defense in the win, while sophomore Angie Tran, trying volleyball this fall for the first time, sparked the Rams in Game 3.

The Triton Vikings (3-16) continued to play competitive basketball yesterday, beating Fellowship Christian Academy, 63-43. The score at halftime was 35-18, Triton. Tom Bashaw (16 pts), Darren Lewis (12 pts), and Andrew Fecteau (9 pts) played well for the Vikings.

Fellowship Christian played a restrained game against an undermanned New Testament of Foxboro squad, winning, 26-6. Chelsea Kirmelewicz, Brittney Marvin and Irveline Claude had six points apiece to pace the Rams (4-13).

Although the Fellowship Christian girls basketball team continued to struggle, Chelsea Kirmelewicz enjoyed a stupendous game with a season-high 22 points while leading the team in rebounds despite playing the entire fourth quarter with four fouls.

Almost weeks ago, Fellowship Christian fell to Essex Aggie by 26 points. Yesterday morning the Rams avenged that loss with a 46-39 win. Trevor Glines led the way with 21 points, including seven from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. Glines also dished off six assists.

Phillips Academy and Fellowship Christian each broke in the win column for boys basketball.

Brian Russell scored 13 to lead Phillips to a 58-44 win over Milton Academy. The Big Blue (1-5) received 11 points from Zach Burdeau.

First-year coach Ryan Souliotis recorded his first win as Triton's coach. Senior Tom Bashaw led the scoring attack with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Charles Anderson added 15 points, four assists and four steals. Matt Musto had 12 points.
