Almost weeks ago, Fellowship Christian fell to Essex Aggie by 26 points. Yesterday morning the Rams avenged that loss with a 46-39 win. Trevor Glines led the way with 21 points, including seven from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. Glines also dished off six assists.
6-5 center Michael Moser recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Fellowship improves to 3-13.
#2 Central Maine CC 100, Northern Essex 95Haverhill's Ismael Rios scored a career 40 points, with 27 coming from nine 3-pointers but Northern Essex Commujnity College could not pull off the upset of Central Maine Community College. The Knights fell, 100-95.
Central Maine (20-2) is ranked No. 2 nationally among Community Colleges.
Tim Bent had 19 points and 11 rebonds for Northern Essex and Tony Siri added 14 points and nine rebounds.
The Knights (12-8) play at Mass Bay CC ( 7 p.m.) on Tuesday.
