Last year's record: 12-7

Coach: Antonio Lage (2nd season)

Returning players: Phil Marchwinski, Sr., Mid/F; Tim Davison, Sr., Mid/Def; Kevin McCarthy, Sr., Def; Andrew Mikulski, So., GK; Chris Ciampa, So., Mid/F; Eddie Pasquariello, So., Mid; Tom Marini, Jr., F/Mid.

Strengths: The Falcons know their roles and, overall, the team has a strong sophomore class. The team had good chemistry last season and coach Lage feels it'll be even better this season.

Concerns: The team graduated its two biggest scorers, so the question mark is where the offense will come from. Danvers will have to play fundamental, disciplined soccer to get its wins.

Coach's outlook: "A lot of people think that because we lost a lot of talented players we're not going to do that well, but we'll catch a lot of people by surprise. We'll be sleepers. The bare minimum goal is to make the state tourney and we want to win the conference (divisional title)."
