Haverhill's Tom Palleschi scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Ryan Hartung, also of Haverhill, added 18 points as Phillips bested Worcester Academy 85-73.
"This is one of the biggest wins in program history," said Big Blue coach Leon Modeste. "They play a league above us, so any time you can beat the big boys is huge. Hartung and Palleschi played out of their minds."
