Melrose posted a 3-0 win over North Reading in the Division 2 North volleyball semifinals. Kirsten Morrison closed out her career with another stellar outing. The 6-footer has 11 kills, 3 blocks and 7 digs.
"We seem to meet them a lot," said first-year coach Mike Milone. "We lost to them last year in a 5-game match in the North finals. At the beginning of the year, we didn't expect to have a season like this. It was a good year. The girls played their hearts out."
