Knights use 3-point shooting to down Astros

LAWRENCE — North Andover sank 10 3-pointers to shoot down Pinkerton, 58-50, in a Greater Lawrence Christmas Tourney consolation game.

Zac Iovanella and Tommy O'Connell each bagged three treys for nine points while Matt Sifferlen (15) and Zach Karalis (12) added two apiece. Sifferlen bounced back in a big way after being shut out in the tourney opener against Andover.

Alex Blane scored nine points and valiantly battled Pinkerton's tall and talented frontcourt. Zach Mathieu led the Astros with 16 points.
