NORTH ANDOVER — It isn’t appropriate to call this a rivalry. After all, Andover and their North Andover counterparts rarely meet on the court. But last night’s match up in front of a raucous full house certainly had the feel.

After signing his letter of intent to play at UNH, Alex Blane scored 13 points, one of four North Andover players in double figures in a 64-51 victory over Triton.

Matt Sifferlen hit five of North Andover's 11 3-pointers as the Scarlet Knights hammered North Reading 76-37. Tommy O'Connell had 20 points, Sifferlen 17 and Derek Collins 15 for the victors.

With senior Tommy O'Connell gunning effectively from the outside and classmate Alex Blane prowling the paint, North Andover was unstoppable in a 70-53 victory over Georgetown. The pair had 19 points apiece in the victory while the Royals stayed close thanks to senior Mike Messman's game-high 20 points, 12 coming in the second quarter.

Continuing a run of strong rebounding, 6-5 senior Alex Blane pulled down 12 boards in North Andover's 55-45 victory over Manchester Essex. Three Scarlet Knights hit double figures led by Tommy O'Connell's 18 points.
