Odds and ends: Fellowship played a sub-varsity schedule last year after not having a team at all in 2005. Prior to that, the Rams played in the CAC. ... The Gerry name is well known around Fellowship. David and Jacob Gerry are cousins. ... Coach Chris Dyer is a pastor at the school who is also an accomplished pianist and piano technician.

Coach Chris Dyer (1st year): "We're a small team. We have 12 or maybe 13 players, so they'll be running all year long. We don't have varsity and JV because we don't have a lot of guys to choose from. We only have one senior on the team this year, and only two juniors. The rest are sophomores or below (down to seventh grade). A lot of the kids obviously haven't played a lot, but we have a few really talented kids, so that will balance it out. My goal is to teach them to play as a team rather than just feed it to the talented kids."
