When Taylor Ordway was moved from outside back to sweeper, not only did she step into the new task well but other players also found their best positions to perform. This has allowed Timberlane to rebound after a slow start, winning its third game in its last four, 3-2 over Alvirne.
"When thrust into a bigger role, Taylor accepted the change and is thriving," said Owl coach Jeff Baumann of the sophomore's efforts. "And that helped us move other players to positions more suited to them.
"We could move (senior captain) Felicia Amaral to stopper," Baumann explained, "and she became more involved both offensively and defensively."
Felicia Amaral moved sr. capt to stopper, become more involved offensively and defensively.
