Denise Rioux could only shake her head. Pinkerton outshot Exeter 14-3 lead in corners 10-1 but lost 2-0. "I can't believe it,'' she said.
The good news is last year Exeter knocked off the Astros early and Pinkerton didn't lose again until the title game.
