In what was termed "as good a round as I've seen in the 13 years I've been here," according to Central Catholic head coach Vin Pastore, junior Kevin Fay tore up Hickory Hill CC for a 4-under par 32, leading the Raiders to a 16-4 victory over host Dracut.
Fay birdied six of nine holes on the day including three straight and four of his last five to help keep Central unbeaten in MVC play (7-0).
"It's the best 9 holes he's ever played," said Pastore.
