All-time series: Beverly leads, 52-49-7. Their holiday series began in 1891, making it one of the oldest in the country.

Parking: There are two small parking lots on either side of the Collins Middle School, which is located next to Bertram Field. Your best bet may be to park in the big lot at the North Shore Medical Center, which is adjacent to the football stadium.

Insider tip: Known affectionately in these parts as simply "The Game," the 109th Beverly-Salem clash is expected to draw between 8,000 to 10,000 fans as the visiting Panthers look to win their fifth straight on the holiday, something they haven't done since a six-game win streak from 1950-55. Salem has only beaten their rivals from across the bridge once at home since 1991.
