Rebounding from a tough loss earlier in the week to North Reading, Newburyport played some of its best tennis of the season, according to coach Neil Reardon, to beat the traditionally strong Lynnfield team.
Nic Filipancic (6-2, 6-7, 6-1), Nick Ross (7-5, 6-2), Matt Mogren (6-2, 6-3), Ryan Keene and Charlie Knowlton 6-1, 6-3, and Tony Dube and Hunter Seabrook (6-2, 3-6, 6-2) were all winners for the Clippers.
