Four star day for Ingram

Josh Ingram drove in all four runs for Georgetown in a 4-0 shutout over Ipswich, in the opening round of the Spofford Tourney (at Georgetown). The senior outfielder cracked a three-run homer in the second inning and followed that with a run-scoring double in the fouth.

Andrew Sinkiewicz earned the win by spinning a two-hiter while striking out 10. The Royals (12-7) host Newburyport at 3 p.m. today for the tourney championship.
