In what was a very close game through three quarter, Newburyport played nearly half the fourth quarter down a man due to penalties swinging the momentum in Hamilton-Wenham's favor, who scored six goals in the quarter on the way to the win.
Andrew Sokol had another strong game for the Clippers with three goals and four assists as did goalie Dean Cataldo with 15 saves. Steven Matses had two goals and two assists, Nate Morneault had a goal as did Travis Souther and Jeff Jones.
