The Reggies have outscored the opposition 179-91, with opponents doing most of their damage vs. the second- and third-teamers. With the heart of the CAC Large schedule closing in, Greater Lawrence is the team to beat.
Coach Tony Sarkis says:
Midseason Mr. Reliable: "Victor Sosa. He's the general. He works hard. He plays hard. And when he's not on the field, he's coaching the younger kids to get better. He's consistent and a great team leader."
Midseason unsung hero: "Jonathan Delossantos. He's underrated at QB and defensive back and does so many things you don't see. He's fearless and a great cover guy. He's so athletic, with a vertical jump of 42 inches. He's so tough, too."
Biggest surprise: "The play of our linebackers, Jorge Cruz, John Cote and the combination of Ryan Rivera and Mike Scott."
Second-half goal: "Consistency and hard work, just like it has been."
How to make it happen: "Reinforce that every day."
