The Royals posted their first Commonwealth Conference crossover wins since 2001, going 3-1 against the CAC Large. Now the real season begins with a classic Turkey Day showdown coming with Manchester Essex.

Coach Matt Bouchard says:

Midseason Mr. Reliable: "Joe Esposito. He's been a captain as a sophomore and a junior. He just gets the job done in every aspect of the game."

Midseason unsung hero: "Dave Kenneally. He didn't miss one weight room session this summer and it's shown. The fullback is such a crucial part of our offense, a cornerstone to the offense, and he's gotten it done all season."

Biggest surprise: "Andrew Sinkiewicz and Chris Esposito. The two sophomores really stepped it up. It's hard to believe but they are our leading tacklers. And Sinkiewicz has been great at right tackle."

Second-half goal: "Just keep pushing in the right direction. We've done well in the Large, now it's time to work in the division."

How to make it happen: "Don't be satisfied with what we've done so far."
