Methuen battled through a tough defensive day with a late offensive surge to get past Andover, 5-2. Sophomore Becca Caterino provided the productive at-bats for the Rangers (9-3) as a third-inning ground-out scored a run, a single in the fifth tied the game, and a base hit in the sixth yielded a big insurance tally. Paige Fleming pitched in with a perfect 3-for-3 effort including a double and a walk. For the Golden Warriors (5-9), Jeanette Doucette thrived at the top of the order with a pair of hits and a run scored.
