Andover's girls lacrosse team couldn't have gotten off to a more discouraging start yesterday against state power Framingham.
Just three seconds into the game, four-year starter and leading scorer Heather Sullivan suffered what appeared to be a broken ankle in a 15-10 setback.
"It took us awhile to adjust to that, but then I thought we rose to their level of play," said Andover coach John McVeigh. "This will be good for us in the long run."
Cat Gross led the Warriors with three goals and two assists.
