Trailing 4-3 with under a minute-and-a-half to play, Amesbury pulled its goalie and the move paid off as the Indians tied the score on Cody Trottier's first goal of the night. However, the forward was not done and with three seconds left Trottier found the net for a second inside a minute to give his Amesbury team the win, 5-4.
Justin Isaac, Brad Connor, and Nick Forni also had goals for the Indians, while Zach Pizzo and Billy Enaire each had two assists, and Trottier had one assist. For the Vikings Craig White had two goals and an assist, Brian Cosgrove had a goal, Ryan Dowling had a goal, Sean Lawless had two assists, Brandon Middleton had two assists, and Caleb Woodworth had an assist.
Amesbury coach Peter Cignetti said it was an awesome win, a great back-and-forth game, and his Indians never quit.
