The Georgetown Royals (15-3) recorded a win over Rockport, 57-45, and extended their school record with their 15th win of the season. Jaymie Spears (16 points), Julio Colon (16 points, 18 rebounds), Mike Messman (7 points, 10 rebounds), Joe Esposito (8 points), and Chris Esposito (5 points, 4 rebounds) all played well in the win.
"This was a ball game," said Georgetown coach Mike Rowinski. "It was senior night for them, and they came out really charged up. Our free-throw shooting was horrendous, but a great second and third quarter helped us set a defensive tone."
