The Georgetown Royals (13-3) were able to defeat the Pentucket Sachems (3-13) at home last night, 52-38. The Royals were led by Jaymie Spears (19 points), Mike Messman (8 points; all in the first half), Joe Esposito (9 points, 6 assists), and Julio Colon (4 points, 12 rebounds).
"We had some nice scoring balance tonight - nine different players scored for us," said Royals coach Mike Rowinski. "You have to hand it to Pentucket. Leo Parent has those kids playing so hard; they just don't quit. I'm glad we're done with them."
