Julio Colon finished with 11 points and nine rebounds as the Georgetown boys basketball team topped Pentucket 70-63, but it was Jaymie Spears who provided the bulk of the fireworks for the Royals. Spears hit 14 field goals and seven free throws en route to a 36-point night.
"It was the Spears show tonight, he was phenomenal," said Georgetown coach Mike Rowinski. "Everything was off steals, transitions, and layups. He was battling through a bad leg cramp down the stretch, but he sucked it up and stayed in the game."
Jordan Silva led the way for the Sachems with 19 points, including three 3-pointers.
