The Central Catholic girls volleyball team completed a historic 18-0 season tonight - the first undefeated season in school history - with a 25-20, 25-13, 25-16 victory over Billerica. The MVC Large champs got big contributions from a number of players, including Katie Zenevitch (seven kills), Maggie Hillman (seven kills), Carolyn Eddy (21 assists), Katie Quinlan (14 service points), Carla Borrelli (18 digs, four aces) and Lindsay Phenix (two blocks).
Borrelli, Hillman and Eddy were named MVC All-Conference, and Zenevitch, Phenix and Lauren Berg were named MVC All-Stars. Coach Gannon Paris received his second-straight MVC Girls Coach of the Year Award, the fourth MVC Coach of the Year Award (two boys and two girls) he's received in his career.
