Ranked no. 13 in the tournament, the Pelham girls soccer team went into the first round hoping to upset a top ranked team. They fell just short however losing 1-0 to Portsmouth in a tightly battled contest. The lone goal was scored by Portsmouth's Jamie Fralick in the first half when she snuck one into the net.
"This was just a intense, fast physical game and I could not be more proud of my team," said coach Amy Coleman. "The girls walked off knowing they played well and have no regrets, they representet their school fabulously and had their heads held high."

Congratulations to the Pelham Field Hockey team for getting into the playoffs. You had a great season. As usually you get overlooked because this stupid site incorrectly said it was the girls soccer team not the Field Hockey team. Shame on them, they should get their facts straight before publishing information!
