With two minutes left in the first half, a deflected pass found it's way to the foot of Haverhill's Meredith Budds. The senior collected the ball, then dished it to Kylee Murphy who released a strike into the back of the net as the Hillies stunned North Andover, 1-0.
In now his 11th year, coach Fred Tarbox says its Haverhill's first win over North Andover in his tenure. He says the two teams tied once during the 11-year span. Jessica Kramer made 14 saves, many were clutch stops in the second half.
