Owls finally break through

Despite outshooting No. 11 Exeter 15-1, Timberlane field hockey was kept off the scoreboard late in the second half. But with 7:43 remaining, Sarah Padellaro took a pass from Kylie Fitzpatrick and finished to lift the No. 3 Owls to a 1-0 win in the Division 1 quarterfinals.
Timberlane will play No. 2 Winnacunnet in the semis at Bill Ball Stadium on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The Owls lost the regular season matchup, 2-1.
