WINDHAM — Windham burst out to a fast start and never looked back, finishing with 406 yards rushing in Friday's 58-7 win over Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton.
Windham led 23-0 after the first quarter and then 44-0 at halftime. It was 58-0 after the third quarter, and Hillsboro-Deering scored a touchdown late to avoid the shutout.
Jake Aleksa led the way on offense with three catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns, along with 35 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown. Victor Pizzotti added 91 yards rushing and a touchdown, and Parker Belsky had 87 yards rushing with two scores.
Windham's other touchdowns came on a 64-yard rush by Timmy Anderson on his only carry of the day, and also Seth Maffeo. Quarterback Cody Potter was a perfect 3 for 3 passing, and Chris Burke was 5 for 5 on extra points.
Windham (3-0) is at Souhegan on Friday at 7 p.m.
