Carver leads Andover to North title

Courtney Carver placed second in the all-around (37.025) to lead Andover to the North Sectional title on Saturday, as reported in Sunday's paper.

Here are all other locals who placed in each event:

North Andover's Nicole Stevens took third in the all-around (36.950) and Andover's Kaitlyn McDonald finished sixth (36.075).

On the uneven bars, Carver won (9.450), McDonald came in fifth (9.100) and Stevens tied for sixth (9.050).

On the balance beam, Stevens won (9.700) and was the lone local placer in the event.

For the floor exercise, McDonald won (9.600), Carver (9.450) placed second and Stevens came in sixth (9.200).

On vault, Andover's Joe Aranov won (9.575), McDonald came in fourth (9.375) and Carver took fifth (9.325).
