Londonderry, with five quarterfinalists, stands in second place after the first day of the George Bossi Lowell Holiday Tournament.

Defending champion Mt. Anthony, with eight quarterfinalists, leads with 124 points, followed by the Lancers at 108 with Springfield Central third at 101. Timberlane, with four quarterfinalists, is sixth with 88 points.

Leading the way for Londonderry is defending New England champ Jean-Luc Lemieux, who had three first-period pins at 138. Also with three first period pins was Fritz Hoehn, North Andover's lone quarterfinalist, at 170.

Reaching the quarterfinals for the Owls were Derek Bohle (132), Dan Scalzo (138), Ryan Peters (145) and Brian Lonergan (182). Bohle survived a 10-8 decision in his last match to advance.

Pinkerton had three quarterfinalists in Shayne McCann (113), Tyler Wilson (160) and Dylan Barreiro (195).

Other quarterfinalists include Windham's Peter Caron (113, Haverhill's Orlando Rojjas (138) and Central Catholic's Brandon Desfosses (145).
