Owls finally fall

It was a memorable day, but not a completely satisfying one for Timberlane head coach Barry Chooljian.

With wins over Phillips Exeter and Framingham, Chooljian won his 500th match at Timberlane, but the Owls then dropped a 38-33 decision to St. John's Prep for their first loss in two years after going 25-0 last year.

"I would trade that (500th win) for a win (against St. John's)," said Chooljian.

Finishing with 3-0 records for the Owls were Cody Lewis (120), Derek Bohle (132), Dan Scalzo (138), Ryan Peters (145) and Brian Lonergan (182). Bohle defeated a defending New England Prep champion for Phillips Exeter.
