Larry Weymouth fired a one-hitter and Salem locked up the top seed in the upcoming Class L tournament with a 3-0 victory over Pinkerton.
Weymouth, now 5-0, struck out 10 and walked only one, outdueling Astro Doug Schultz, who was touched up for three runs in the first then slammed the door the rest of the way.
Peter Allain had two hits and drove in a run for the winners. Kyle Johnson and Matt Hardy drove in the other runs.
