Central wins MVC title

Alec Brunelle took second overall (78), Brendon Shirley tied for third (79) and James Coen tied for sixth (80) as Central Catholic won the MVC Golf Championship meet with a score of 237. 

Chelmsford finished second (239), Haverhill took third (245) and North Andover (247) came in fourth. 

Andover (264) finished seventh and Methuen (266) was tied for eighth. 

Billerica's Nick Fantasia was the medalist, shooting a 75.

Rob Budds, who tied for sixth individually, was Haverhill's top golfer. He shot an 80. He tied for sixth with Will Berberach, who shot North Andover's top score.
