Odds and ends: Few teams return as much experience as the Raiders, with 10 starters and five other lettermen returning. ... Mike Leavitt (37-4, Division 2 state champ, sixth at New Englands) leads the way. ... Sophomore Tommy Lacroix had a fine rookie season, going 33-13 and winning the sectional. ... Zach Lattrell, who was injured in football, won't be able to start practicing until January at the earliest. Another starter from last year, heavyweight Mike Schlosser, is out for the year due to a football-related knee injury, according to coach Dennis King. ... Long-time assistant Chuck Adamopoulos is taking a year off from the mat. He will be replaced by Tim Lattrell, who is Zach's father. ... Freshmen Matt Armano (103), Mark Strossel (112) and Simon Dellea (145) could all crack the starting lineup.

Coach Dennis King (17th year, 263-62-4): "We have a lot of guys returning, but most of them were first-year wrestlers, so it's a little deceiving. But I think we'll be a good dual-meet team when all is said and done."
