For the first time in their last five meets, the Triton Vikings did not lose, but they did not win either, tying Hamilton-Wenham 34-34.
Ryan Flynn (140, pin), Tim Hudon (152, 18-7), Zach Welch (160, pin), Brendan O'Neil (171, pin), Adam Ouellet (189, pin), and Kyle Slepboy (heavyweight, pin) posted victories for the Vikings. But, it was Slepboy who was most impressive to coach Shawn McElligott.
"Kyle had the best match of his career tonight as the contest went all three periods before he got the pin," McElligott said. "He has been working very hard lately, and it paid off today.
"Overall, I think we wrestled much better than we have in the last week or so as the kids were much more aggressive," McElligott continued. "We are still very young, and one little mistake each night seems to keep us from going over the top."
