For a program that was all but left for dead three years ago, it's time to celebrate.
Haverhill High's wrestling team claimed the Merrimack Valley Conference small school title with a 45-33 win over Dracut.
Danny DeJesus, Reece Millington and Matt Haskell helped spark the win with victories via pin.
"Considering where we've come from, this is just huge for us," said coach Brian Urquhart. "The kids have put in the time, and it shows in the results."
