In the last match of the day, with Haverhill trailing by two points, Jamal Babiker grabbed a 10-9 decision to give the Hillies a 39-33 victory over the host team and a sweep on a quad-meet that included Franklin Tech and Whittier Tech.

In a battle of two local teams short handed due to injury and illness, the Hillies defeated Whittier 39-33, one of the key matches being at 132. In a duel of two of the area's top wrestlers at that weight, Haverill's Reece Millington prevailed over Xavier Boisvert, 7-4.

For Haverhill, Luc Chretien had three pins on the day despite moving up to 195 while Dave Sachs had a big day for the Wildcats with three wins at heavyweight. Tyler Tannian had a big win for the Wildcats at 138 over Haverhill junior Orlando Rojas.
