Haverhill's wrestling team, without three of its best wrestlers (Reece Millington, Jordan Faulkner and Samie Al-Ziab), all out with injuries or illness, defeated Tewksbury 45-29. Freshman Justin Bustamante sparked the win with a first period pin in the opening match at 120 pounds and Luc Chretien had a huge win over Tewksbury standout Brock Dokos at 182.
"I'm really proud of the way our guys stepped up today," said Haverhill coach Brian Urquhart.
