Windham wlll be in the Derryfield girls lacrosse team's nightmares for quite some time.
The No. 2 Jaguars beat No. 3 Derryfield for the third time this season, a 16-7 victory in the Division 3 semifinals last night.
Windham will now look to win its second staight Division 3 state title, when the Jaguars take on No. 5 Lebanon on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire.
"The plays are so pumped to be going back to the finals," said coach Jill Bartlett. "After winning last year they really wanted this again."
Courtney Sweeny contined to star, leading the Jaguars with five goals while Ali Connors and Sam Crichton each had three and Justine Levesque starred on defense for the winners.
