After allowing his only hit of the game in the sixth, Lawrence's Wilmer Gomez finished off his gem in style by striking out the side in the seventh to give him 15 Ks for the day, locking down a complete-game one-hitter and an 11-0 Lancers win.
"He was unhittable," said Lawrence coach Brendan Neilon. "This is a guy that started the year on the JV team, so I guess it shows what we know. He has a great hard breaking ball."
Javier Morales added plenty of offense, hitting a two-run homer and adding a pair of doubles.
