It was not a great day for local teams at the Cape Ann League meet, on either the boys or girls side, but things went just fine for North Reading junior Nicole Roberst. She fibnished third overall in 18:37 on the 2.8-mile Bradley Palmer course.
Marissa Porter was ninth overall for Pentucket with teammate kasey mann in 11th.
On the boys side, sophomore Alex Demeule was 12th for Pentucket.
