Coach: Jim Burfoot (2nd season)

Key returnees: Samantha Stokes, Sr. F/C; Emily Bartlett, Jr. F; Emily Patrolia, Jr. G; Simone Prioli, So. G/F. Key departures: Katie Splaine, Jenna Schwartz, Jenna Mazzarowski.

Strengths: Team chemistry. Burfoot is in his second season and many of this year's team got comfortable with his coaching style last year. The Generals should be able to pick up where they left off a year ago. Prioli, last year's leading scorer, is also a strength.

Concerns: Size. Stokes brings pretty good skills to the post, but the Generals lack size across the board.

Coach's outlook: "The obvious goal is to win the Cape Ann League Small, but there are tough teams in the way with Ipswich, Georgetown and Lynnfield. I think we can compete, it's just going to be a matter of winning close games. Last year we had close games and we weren't really pulling them out."
