Hillies close strong in shutout victory

With Zach Sindoni (31 assists) deftly setting up everybody on Haverhill's front line, the Hillies emerged with a 25-18, 25-19, 25-11 victory over Methuen to stay unbeaten at 6-0.

Kevin Hirschfeld (12 kills), Drew Caruso (11 kills), James Murray (7 kills) and Tom Oliveira (6 kills) all benefited from Sindoni's quality work.

Methuen stayed close through the first two games behind the setting of Zach Branchaud (25 assists) and solid net play from Ryan Freeman (7 kills) and Kyle Mansour (6 kills), grabbing a pair of leads in the early stages. 

But Haverhill closed each of those games strongly to win, then ran off a quick five points to seize control of the third game.
